Get to Know Us

Hi, I’m Zander.

I’m a professional 1-to-1 dog groomer based in the small village of Irchester offering calm, patient grooming tailored to each dog’s comfort, wellbeing, and coat health.

With over 3 years of experience in a busy salon environment, I specialise in gentle handling and realistic styles, creating a stress-free environment for dogs who need extra care and understanding. I work closely with you to achieve the best possible style for your pet, always guided by their coat condition, to ensure grooming is a positive and rewarding experience.

All of our grooms include a Fur Recycling Fee. We work closely with a company called Green Groomers Collective, an organisation dedicated to ensuring your pet’s hair never goes to landfill.

Through innovative recycling methods, your pet’s fur can be repurposed in up to 10 different ways, including helping to clean waterways by absorbing oil, supporting regenerative biomanu factoring, composting, and gardening. At Celestial Cuts, we are committed to reducing waste and doing our part to be as environmentally responsible as possible.

As I continue to grow in my grooming journey, I aim to be the best groomer I can be by holding myself to high standards and always prioritising your pet’s individual needs. I believe in working closely with you as an owner, ensuring clear communication and realistic expectations.

I am a strong believer in taking things at your pet’s pace. This means some grooms may take longer than expected, as my focus is on creating a positive, calm, and rewarding grooming experience for both you and your furry companion.

Through my experience working in busy salon environments, I have learned that rushing dogs through the grooming process can often cause unnecessary stress, making the overall experience more negative rather than positive.

My aim is to build a trusting relationship with both you and your dog, allowing them to feel comfortable and confident during grooming. This may mean taking more time, splitting grooming sessions, offering regular breaks, or, in some cases, ending a groom early if that is what your dog needs.

I am a crate-free salon, as I understand that crates can increase anxiety for some dogs and make the grooming process more overwhelming. Instead, I use secure tethering points where dogs can relax on a bed with access to fresh water. This allows them to remain safe while still having the freedom and comfort they need within the salon. For this reason, I operate on an appointment-only basis and am unable to accept walk-ins.

I am fully insured for dogs, cats, and small animals. Cat grooming is currently not offered while further qualifications are completed. I’m a big animal lover and share my life with several much-loved pets. I have two dogs: Blue, my 8-year-old blue merle Border Collie, and Max, my 11-year-old Border Collie cross Labradoodle, who both keep me on my toes every day. Alongside these two lovely boys, I also have an 8-year-old Maine Coon cross Bengal cat called Grimm, and an 8-year-old Royal Python named Hades.

My westie gets very anxious at the groomers and vets, so i was a bit worried as this was someone new to him. I liked the way he spent time to get to know my dog before he stared to work on him. I was very pleased with the way he cut his fur so over all it was l good experience. I have rebooked, I would recommend him to all my doggie friends

Zander was fantastic from the moment we walked to leaving with two beautiful groomed furr babies. He took the time to find out about my dogs and what I was looking for giving some advice when asked also. I Would 💯 recommend to anyone looking for a groomer.

I took my cockapoo Ginny to Celestial Cuts Pet Spa and couldn’t be happier with the results! Ginny can be a little nervous but she clearly felt comfortable and came out looking absolutely amazing. The groom was perfect — she looks so neat and fluffy, and you could tell she’d been well looked after. It’s lovely to support a local business that genuinely cares about the animals in their care. Will definitely be booking again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring, skilled groomer x

I thoroughly recommend Celestial Cuts for all your dogs grooming needs. Zander is so knowledgeable. Meg and Oscar visited today for the first time. I was so happy with their grooming experience and hair cuts. Zander listened to what I wanted and carried it out to perfection. Thank you Zander, Meg and Oscar will be returning 😊
